Treatment Effect
Non-Surgical Methods
Visible results typically require consistent long-term effort, often taking several weeks to months. Exercises and facial massage can firm facial muscles and enhance facial contours, while dietary adjustments help reduce facial swelling and minimize fat accumulation.
Surgical Methods
Results are generally more pronounced and appear more quickly. Osteotomy or bone contouring surgery significantly alters facial width. Botox injections typically begin showing effects within 1–2 weeks, with optimal results appearing between 1–3 months; removal of buccal fat pads leads to a visibly slimmer face. However, the duration of surgical results varies by individual: bone contouring and osteotomy effects are usually permanent, while Botox results generally last 6–12 months and require periodic maintenance injections.
