Treatment Effect
Short-term Effects
Immediately after the procedure, the lips appear noticeably fuller. In the initial days following surgery, slight swelling and bruising may occur, typically subsiding within one to two weeks, at which point the initial results of lip augmentation become visible.
Long-term Effects
Once the transplanted fat cells survive, the results are relatively long-lasting. The effects generally last two to three years or longer, though the exact duration depends on individual factors such as body constitution and lifestyle habits. For instance, significant weight gain due to overeating after surgery or excessive weight loss may affect the survival and longevity of the fat cells.
