Treatment Outcomes
The results of autologous dermal nasal augmentation are typically long-lasting. Following surgery, as swelling subsides, the nasal shape gradually becomes more defined. Around 1 to 3 months post-operation, the results stabilize, with the nasal bridge and tip appearing more natural and harmonious. The dermal tissue integrates seamlessly with surrounding tissues, providing a realistic texture that mimics a natural nose. Since the graft is derived from the patient's own tissue, there is no risk of displacement or deformation, ensuring durable and satisfactory aesthetic outcomes. However, factors such as skin laxity associated with aging may gradually influence the nasal appearance. Nevertheless, compared to other rhinoplasty methods, autologous dermal augmentation offers superior longevity in maintaining results.
